Watch Fireworks without the crowd at Gardens by the Bay.


We paid a visit to Gardens by the Bay last saturday. Since it was also a day for National Day rehersals, we thought we could watch the Fireworks from the Gardens.

Supertrees

The Gardens look amazing at night. The lights were impressive on the Supertrees. We were trying to find a nice spot to watch the fireworks. The OCBC Garden Rhapsody is also on our list as it starts at 745pm

Initially we were on the second level as we thought a higher ground can give us more vantage. However as the rain begain to drop, we decided to seek shelter at the ground level instead. Turns out it is a wise choice as you could see from the photo above and below.

The fireworks started at about 750 pm (about 5 minutes into the OCBC Rhapsody. The OCBC Rhapsody was a nice visual treat, but once the fireworks started, all eyes were turned towards the direction of Marina Bay Sands.
This is our 2nd National Day pre activity.

With the backdrop of Marina bay Sands, the fireworks peering from in between the 'holes' of MBS was an incredible sight. We think the fireworks may look better from Fullerton, but nevertheless it is always nice to view it from another perspective. In fact it is so nice that I commented that this is the nicest fireworks I have seen to date.

I would love to come to Gardens again to catch the fireworks. If you are interested, the fireworks is on every Saturday till National Day (8th August) from 750 pm onwards.

1) Marina Bay Promenade
Walkway along Marina Bay- Best view from Walkway opposite MBFC.

2) One Fullerton
You will get a good view of the fireworks as well as MBS light show. Fine Dining avaliable here.

3) Esplanade
You will get almost the same view as the spectators of National Day Parade from here. As close as you can get to the action without being at the Marina Floating Platform

4) Marina Barrage
Almost similiar to Gardens by the Bay but at a distance. The domes of the Gardens will be your foreground in your fireworks pictures!

5) Bay East - Gardens by the Bay
Best non city location. You don't have to mix with the crowds and you get a nice stroll in the park.
