All that Jazz @ Sing Jazz 2014

Whenever I want to chill, I would pop in a Jazz CD to relax and unwind. My personal favourite Jazz repertoires includes classics like Mack the Knife, Fly me to the Moon, Unforgettable, At Last and The Look of Love. The last 2 songs even made it to the song list during our wedding a decade ago. Jazz is like wine, as one ages, the music sounds smoother and rich with emotions.

When the invitation came to attend Singapore's inaugural Singapore Jazz Festival this weekend, it was an offer that is hard to resist. Sing Jazz 2014 will be held over four days from 28th February through to 2nd March.

Singapore first Jazz fiesta will feature some of the biggest names in Jazz as well as emerging talents from international, regional and of course the local scene.
Headlining the event would be well known Jazz musicians from different genres. You have the old favourites like Incognito and Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, together with modern Jazz performers like Jamie Cullum, Gregory Porter and Natialie Cole ( the daughter of Godfather of Jazz Nat King Cole)

The main shows will be at the Grand Theatre and the Event Plaza (outdoor). Tickets are available at sistic.com
For those who would like to catch a sampler of Jazz, there are free performances throughout the event.
