Lunar New Year is less than 3 weeks away.

This year CNY comes earlier than before the rooster can crow. Time to swap the Christmas tree for the vase of pussy willows and look forward to a slew of events and activities to ring in the Year of the Rooster.

The Official Light Up and Opening Ceremony marks the opening of the Chinatown Chinese New Year Celebrations 2017. Be entertain by local and China leading troupes. Expect an opening with spectacular firecrackers and fireworks display to usher in the Year of the Rooster

This one is for the  fans of Lion Dance

The annual event which has gone into its 10th year will see more than 10 reputable top troupes from Singapore and Asia Pacific, all vying for the grand prize and the honour of being recognised as ‘the best of the best’ as they pit against one another with skillful stunts and intricate manoeuvres on the meihuazhuang.
