Who is afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
Singapore Repertory Theatre will be back in July with a new production.
After successfully staging it in English, SRT’s The Little Company now presents Red Riding Hood 小红帽in Mandarin.
Red Riding Hood is an uplifting story about a brave girl named Red who must journey through the forest to reunite her family and save Mother's bakery from closing down.
Will she reach Grandma's house in time? Or will the charming Big Bad Wolf distract her from her quest? Join Red on her adventure into the woods, where no one is what they seem!
If you had not been to any SRT productions, you should seriously consider to attend one. We had been bona fide fans of SRT for the past few years for a very good reason... they have world class productions for kids. Every production brings a refreshing take on a familiar tale. There are plenty of life lessons too that you could pick up from the shows.
Despite being a local production unit, they have never disappointed us in the productions we had watched. SRT - TLC production The Cat in the Hat was the first show we caught back in 2012 . At a tender age of 2 , Little L sat through the whole show totally engaged .Till this day, the family always discussed the family lessons we learn from watch SRT productions after every show. Thus Red Riding Hood 小红帽 is very much on our radar for the upcoming month. Given that it is in Chinese is a bonus, as it will help us brush up our Chinese vocabulary.
