COVID19 Clusters in Singapore - Where are they and what's the status?
![]() |
By now, you would be familiar with the term clusters
COVID19 clusters refer to a group where the confirmed cases are linked to one another.
To date, there are 17 clusters identified in Singapore. Out of these 17 clusters, 11 are still active with 7 new clusters formed within the past week. 7 are deemed to be inactive with no new cases.
Some of the clusters have duplicated cases. It could be implied that these duplicate cases result in the formation of new clusters.
Examples
Case 142 and 144 linked to SAFRA Jurong Dinner, boulder+Gym and Church of Singapore
Case 556 linked to Hero's Pub and Dover International School.

UNLINKED CASES
Along with the link cases, there are still 79 locally transmitted cases that had yet to established any links to previous cases or travel history to affected countries or regions.
With this in mind, given the evidence that community spread had probably taken place. With cases that are asymptomatic and not tested, there are silent spreaders out there.
The best course of action is to avoid unnecessary travel. Stay at Home for the moment so the spread can be contained.
