Daily Dose: We didn't start the fire
We didn't start the fire
It was always burning since the world's been turning.
We didn't start the fire.
No, we didn't light it, but we tried to fight it
.
Fire seems to be the theme for this year. We are not talking about Billy. Joel's song ( for old folks like us, you would know that it is), but rather the recent spate of fire incidents had literally raised the temperature on this.
Things start to heat from cars bursting into flames (2 BMW within a week) to house fire due to frying nuggets to fire to Lau Pa Sat over the weekend and Geylang Seria Market carpark up in Singapore. Add to the February and early March drought. It's a fiery quarter to remember.
Let's hope things cool down for the rest of the year.
1)13 Covid19 cases
13 imported
The anticipated CNY infection did not surface save for a handful of cases. This is good news for Singapore. It would seem like we had managed to keep it under control despite the daily imported cases.
