4 Schools impacted by postive COVID-19 cases

A total of 4 schools were said to have positive COVID-19 cases.

As reported earlier, Yio Chu Kang Primary and Kong Hwa Primary were 2 schools with confirmed cases.

Base on a report by 8world, it is now confirmed that 4 schools are affected according to the notice issued by the schools to parents and guardians. Interestingly, mainstream COVID-19 media have not started reporting on this.

The affected schools are as follow

Kong Hwa Primary - 2 cases

St Stephen's School - 2 cases

St Andrew Junior School - 1 case

Yio Chu Kang Primary -1 case

They were all close contacts of previously confirmed cases. All teachers and students who have been in close contact with the students have been place on absentee leave or received quarantine orders.

Students from Kong Hwa, St Stephen's and St Andrews will be on HBL for one day (May14), Students from Yio Chu Kang Primary will be on HBL from today till Tuesday (May 18). There are no explanation why there is a difference in HBL standards for schools with Covid19.
