2 cases of Covid-19 detected at Kong Hwa Primary School

Kong Hwa Primary is the second school to conduct HBL from May 14.

It was earlier announced that Yio Chu Kang Primary school will be conducting HBL because one student tested positive for Covid19.

Base on a verified message on Parent's Gateway, it was announced that 2 students have tested positive for Covid19. Both students were close contacts of another positive case not related to school.

Full Home-based learning for all students will be conducted on 14 May. The Student Care Center (SCC) will be closed on 14 May.

Students and staff who are in close contact with the affected students will be placed on Leave of Absence (LOA)/ Quarantine Order (QO) as required by Ministry of Health.

There are no instructions yet if any of the close contact or students of the school will be required to undergo swab tests.

Update: There are reports that St Andrew's JC has 1 positive case too.

  1. Hello ... just a suggestion to be more precise in the way you spell COVID-19. It is to be spelled in all caps as it is an acronym. Not unlike you spell WHO, PIE, NASA.
