Two schools with COVID19 cases, one implements HBL and other does not.

2 additional schools have reported COVID19 cases.

Both schools have students that were last in school on Monday ( Jul 19), however, the response was the complete opposite of each other. This is perplexing for parents and students alike as it seems like there is no standard protocol when it comes to dealing with Covid-19 cases. MOE and MOH should clarify the position regarding this.

As reported on Today, CHIJ Toa Payoh has a case reported. Additionally, Chung Cheng High School (Main) has a case as well.

If your child has taken tuition or enrichment classes in the vicinity of these schools. Do take note. Base on the last outbreak in schools, there is a chance of transmission via such classes.

In the meantime, be responsible. If you, your child or anyone in the family has any symptoms, please see a doctor immediately. The responsibility to stop the spread starts with us. The risk is not on the children but on families of the children who are not vaccinated.

Stay safe!
