    Who reads your website?
    Parents, parents to be, grandparents and even those getting hitch are our reader base. 70 % of our readers are from age 25-49. Our readers are mostly from Singapore, but we do have a good base of readers from Malaysia, Japan and even Australia!

    We are among the top 3 parenting websites in Singapore in terms of readership for 2020.

    How are you compared to local magazines?
    Local parenting magazines have an average subscription of 15000 per month. Our readerships average 70000 unique visitors with more than 90000 page views per month. That means your post gets as much mileage (if not more) as an advertorial on a magazine. What's more, it is always on the internet so someone can always do a search for articles related to your product or event. It will never disappear like an old article in a printed magazine. A post on our website is a perpetual advertisement for a one-time fee or sponsorship.

    Will an invitation or sending a product guarantee a post?
    For all sponsorship, be it event invites or products reviews requests, does not guarantee a post.  Due to the amount of time dedicated to a  review, the sponsored item would of the minimum value in order to be featured on the blog. For items that do not meet the minimum value, we may use other social channels such as Facebook or Instagram for a feature instead. Do note that we do not accept loan units for review.

    In addition, we like to be honest and state that not all reviews will have a positive tone. We would state any pros and cons we come across. The final write up will be dependent on our experiences.  Do note that acceptance of a product or event does not warrant an obligatory post if it does not fit our readership. Do note the following terms
    • All sponsored posts content are copyright to us and may not be re-published without permission in any form. 
    • Post contents such as videos and photos are not to be used on a commercial basis. 
    • There will not be any draft provided for sponsored reviews.
    • A review of the product does not constitute an endorsement.

    Do consider advertorial post if you would like to use the post contents for publicity. Advertisers will have access to editorial rights for the post. That said if you are confident that the product or services will resonate with our readers, take a gambit and write to us.

    How about Press Release, surely you like to know about the latest attractions/ talk of the town?
    Thank you for the information. We may share the news if it is relevant to Family Lifestyle.  Not all press release would be featured. The best way for a  feature is to invite us to your events or sample your products. At, we would like to base our posts on real-life experiences and not just an exercise of cut and paste. While information is free, preparing, publishing and hosting a post would require significant time. If you do not work for free, do not expect us to do so too.

    The product will reach you on Friday, I want the post up on Sunday
    Unless you paid for our services and we agreed on a timeline, all sponsored posts are subject to our own terms and conditions. That includes the timing of the post if we would do a review. Expect a lead time of 3-4 weeks as we do have a constant flow of requests to be featured. For advertorials, we could complete the post in 3 days depending on the content.

    My company only want positive reviews
    We do have a responsibility to our readers who follow us because credibility is the key to a good publication. All reviews will be based on our experiences and may differ from end-users experience. If we think it is good, the post will reflect it and vice versa.

    Your post does not reflect well on us, can we request a change?
    Change can be made if factual mistakes were made. Otherwise, the best way to change a not so fabulous experience is to relook at how to improve it for the end-user. Take it as positive feedback :)

    Can sponsors tell you what to write for the post?
    All editorial rights are at our own discretion. Unless it is a factual representation, we will not be skewed by demands. We do hope sponsors will use this as feedback and improve their products/services. Alternately, work with us on crafting the post together and choose the advertorial route. For advertorial, we do allow a draft for review and inputs if necessary. Advertisers can use the contents for advertorial purposes with prior permission.

    Are all your posts sponsored or paid?

    We wish.  For disclosure, not all posts are sponsored. We love to share personal experiences, so there will be posts that are published out of the pocket.

    Can you help me post my article on the blog? It will be good information for your readers.
    To maintain our independence, we do offer complimentary hosting of articles. However, should you wish to consider an advertorial route, we can discuss a collaboration.

    I want to be an exclusive partner, you cannot write for similar providers
    Yes, we will do it if you would pay us a salary or sponsor ALL the activities related to your industry. Most instances, this would just be a dream. However, we do strife not to cross sponsors on the SAME product on the same post. That would be our promise to you.

    Are you paid to write?

    We do accept paid advertorial. The paid advertorial will have to be clearly stated. The benefits you get are

    • Editorial access
    • Rights to Draft
    • Attendance to events
    • Usage of  post content for promotional purpose subjected to approval
    • Guaranteed post in a timely manner. 

    Post contents are crafted with inputs from advertisers in a  factual manner for paid advertorials. We do reserve the right to approve the final edit to maintain the integrity of the post. The occasional paycheck will come in handy for The Wacky Duo Educational Trust Fund that we are hoarding for the future.

    On the same note, for sponsored posts, there will not be any benefits as stated above.

    Can I use your post/images/ videos for publicity?
    Feel free to share our post on your social platform. Do provide a link back to acknowledge the source. As long as it is not for commercial purposes, we encourage all shares and mentions.

    Do note that all contents created are copyright to Unless specified in our mutual agreement, the images, videos and content cannot be used for commercial purposes. This includes but is not limited to advertising, public broadcast and promotion pamphlets.

    Any usage for a commercial purpose requires additional permission and a fee for usage.

    Who are the writers of main writer is Daddy M with inputs from The Wacky Duo. It is a family team effort with contents generated by the boys, while Daddy writes their thoughts.

    Can you post our 'FREE' article?
    You may provide the article for free, but we do not provide complimentary hosting. On the contrary, if you have a topic to share, do feel free to approach us and we can work out a collaboration.
