Splash splash @ Adventure Cove Waterpark

It was the last day of our Staycation in RWS for the march holiday( This post is way overdue! ) As part of our package, we have entrance tickets to Adventure Cove Waterpark. We were there for a short period during the RWS fans day out before the event was cut short by a heavy downpour on that day.

Hidden Entrance
One of the benefit to staying at Equarius Hotel is the close proximity to a hidden Adventure Cover Waterpark entrance located a few meters away from the hotel. You have to walk through the hotel on the 2nd floor, exit, turn left on the main road and within 50 m, there is a slip road that takes you to the entrance of Adventure Cove. There is no sign located there, so it does take a little bit of luck to locate it.
Get your tickets
You will be greeted by a small ticket counter. Buy your tickets, take a lift down and be ready for a day of fun.

Activities for younger kids age 2 -12

Note : All rides requirement Children under 122cm requires adult supervision
Seahorse Getaway
Seahorse Getaway
Our favourite spot at adventure cove. This is the first time we had encountered a padded pool. A not too deep pool that allows toddler to wade. The presence of lifeguard in the wading pool is a sight that most parents welcome. They keep a watchful eyes on the kids and control the boisterous ones from getting out of hand.Recommend for kids 2 to 6

Seahorse Getaway
Big bucket treehouse

A water playground set in the midst of the adventure park. Children can get crazy and WET in this zone made especially for them. 2 slides challenges the adventurer in the child. My favourite spot in the park.
Perfect for kids age 4 to 12.
Big Bucket Treehouse
Bluwater Bay
Adventure River
Be a wave rider in this huge pool that has surfers wave. Grab you floats and coast with the waves. As the floats are a tad too big for younger kids and some young kids might find such waves disturbing, it is recommended for kids age 4 and up. Grab a swimming vest for those non swimmers. One round is never enough for me as I must have ride the waves for at least 5 times when I was there.

Adventure river
Set around the circumferences of Adventure Cove, the river will bring you to 14 different landscape which includes an underwater tunnel, a lush jungle , a mystery cave amongst others. Laze about in a float for a relaxing good time. A little cruise for family fun.
Age 2 and up.
Grab a Float!
Unfortunately due to my last thunderstorm experience and the fact that I was caught in the heavy downpour while I was on the adventure river, I hesitant about going in for one more round. Do note that exit / entry zones are limited and it is best avoid when you see rain coming.
Adventure River
Swimming vests
Swimming vest are available for the young and the young at heart. You can enjoy the rides even if you are a non swimmer, we recommend children to wear the vest for Bluewater Bay and Adventure River
Swim Vests

Entrance to the Ray Bay

When we were there a few months, ago, the dolphins have not arrived, but on our last trip to sentosa, we spotted these!

As you can see most rides are meant for kids of age 8 and upwards, that means most of the rides are not suitable for us. Unless you go with a family of older kids, you may consider other water playground options such as POLW that caters to younger kids.

Dining options

After a day of play, it is time to fill the tummies.
Riverside snack
Riverside snacks and The Bay Restaurant
There are two food options in the premises. The Bay restaurant serves western and Asian meals, while the riverside snacks provides for bite size snacks to go. Food pricing are relatively reasonable and most are under $10 per head.
The Bay
Check out the food at the Bay restaurant

As for us, as long as there is water, we will have fun regardless. Adventure Cove Waterpark has indeed got to tons of water for us to play in.
Water baby
Here is a tip for families with young kids. Go for the sheltered cabanas located at the Seahorse Hideaway. The cabanas are complimentary, but it is on a first come first serve basis. There are only 11 cabanas for grab, so be there early to book one. Great for shelter under sun and rain.If you cannot find a Cabana, you can also store your bags at the lockers for $10 / $20 for small or big option for the whole day
