Breakfast @ Kakis

Kakis

Have you heard about Kakis?

Located in the Far East ... or rather the extreme East of Singapore at Changi Village, this hidden gem is a bar and bristo where good friends hangout.

We were there bright and early on the morning to have a taste of their new weekend breakfast menu.

Getting to Kakis can be a little challenging. Located at Farnborough Road, this stretch of road is quite isolated and best accessible with cars. Once there , you will be greeted by a green oasis filled with greenery and a breath of fresh air.

You have a view of the golf course that is next to Kakis. Not a bad view to kick off a weekend breakfast.

Breakfast at Kakis is a weekend affair. There is a fair selection of breakfast treats with a mix of local and international fare.

The Rosti with Jumbo Hot Dog is one of their signature dish.

If you are going local, Nasi Lemak will be your best bet.

The kids are not left out as they have their own choice of food.

The cute pancakes and banana would make the little ones excited about their meal. Personally I think the Little Hero's Big Breakfast has everything a child would enjoy for a hearty breakfast. With it's combination of toast, fries, sausages, bacon, sunny side-up and tomatoes , it is the complete mini American breakfast for kids.

The food is not the only lure to this oasis.

There is a pool table should you need some entertainment. Otherwise check out their funky signage which would put a smile with their messages.

For a relaxing weekend and to get away from the bustle and hustle of city life, Kakis will be the place to unwind, kick back and enjoy the greener side of life.

Best of all no wifi included, so stop watching your youtubes or post on your facebook to connect with your mates!
