Christmas has always been a favourite season in the household . It is not just about the Christmas gifts we receive and give , but about the blessings of the season and the origin of Christmas to celebrate the Birth  of Christ. It is also a season where many celebrate regardless of religion . Christmas is a time for many to mark the end of the year , a time to check if a child is naughty or nice ( for the presents) and an opportunity for families to gather.

So how do you celebrate Christmas in Singapore ? 

We may not have a single drop of Snow , but at each Christmas , you would see the streets and malls all deck out .  Here are some Christmas activities you can do in Singapore !

1 Build your own Christmas tree

A must have ( at least in our household ) Setting the Christmas tree is an annual family activity that both parents and kids enjoy.

2 See Christmas lights in Singapore

If you think setting up your own tree takes too much effort , head outdoors to catch these Christmas light up instead.

The 2 main spots for Christmas Lights would be  Gardens by the Bay and Orchard Road

3 Make a Gingerbread House

Gingerbread houses are associated  with Christmas . Make your own at Shangri La The Line Shop annual Gingerbread house workshop . Held every weekend in December before Christmas , book your slots before it disappears. It's great fun for the family to bond with their very own Gingerbread House

3 Share a Christmas Log Cake

4 Have a Christmas meal with family

While some may opt for the cosy comforts of home , others will head out to have a family meal. We love the idea of having a cozy Christmas theme family meal.
