Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay 2019 Preview

Christmas Wonderland will be back at Gardens by the Bay for the 6th edition.


This year promises to be bigger with an inaugural Christmas Parade, Santa's Workshop, 40 majestic luminaries light sculpture, Asia's tallest luminarie Christmas Tree and a 21-metre tall Spalliera among the highlights.  There will be a total of 10 new attractions this year!


This year edition will run from 29 Nov to 26 Dec 2019.

Highlights

Luminarie Light Sculptures

40 majestic luminarie light sculptures in brand new designs, including Asia's tallest luminarie Christmas Tree and the stunning 21-metre tall Spalliera, will be featured.  These will be illuminated by 360,000 bulbs!

Also, there are two stunning art installations for more spectacular photo opportunities. The 50-metre tunnel display Walk of Peace and the Mistletoe Ally would be crowd favourites during the festival.

Blizzard Time

Grab Your Cameras, as snow will fall against the stunning backdrop of luminarie light sculptures.
There are 5 Blizzard timings per day and each one will last for 5 minutes

What's a party without a parade?

For the first time at the Gardens, there will be a Christmas Parade featuring favourite festive characters on three floats. Santa on his reindeer sleigh, dancing elves and Santarinas, penguin in igloos and snowmen highing in the gardens!

Santa Workshop

Walk through the forest and snow-filled giant globe before witnessing animatronic elves hard at work wrapping presents. Look out too for Santa and take a photo with him.

Garden Rhapsody- the Christmas Special

The Supertrees come alive with this special Garden Rhapsody featuring beloved Christmas Songs.


Carnival Games and Rides

There will be 18 traditional carnival games and rides throughout the fairground. This includes Mini Viking, Bumper Cars, Christmas Train and all-new Swing Chair Carousel.


Christmas Village

Feast on festive delights and shop for gifts at the Christmas Village. This will feature 24 charming Europenna Style wooden huts with a new host of craft vendors and limited-edition food and drink launches by Brewerkz and Haagen-Daz.


Festive Entertainment - Yuletide Sessions and Christmas Carols

Soak in festive vibes with intimate performances by Singapore's homegrown talents under the magical Casso Armonica gazebo with performances by Inch Chua, Jana Ann & Joy Alexis, Sam Driscoll, Two Cheers and a Toast, the Hwa Chong Institution Choir. EVOKX, the NTU Alumni Choir and more.

Meadow Theatres

Enjoy not one but four theatrical productions in the new larger Meadow Theatre. See critically acclaimed circus performers from Australia Trash Test Dummies, Smash hit London Production Snow Play, a charming adaption of The Old Shoemaker by local collective Five Stones Theatre and direct from New York, Vitaly Bechman with Pure Wonder.
