Take a Sleigh Ride with Conrad Yule Log cakes!



At the blink of the eye, Christmas will be upon us in a few weeks time.



During this period, you would be shopping for Christmas Gifts, prepping up the Christmas Tree, going for the Christmas buffet or even planning for the Christmas home party. If you are doing the latter, you would definitely want to add in a Christmas Cake.



Instead of the normal log cake, why not consider Conrad Yule Log Cake.

Instead of the traditional log cake, this year's rendition comes with a twist. Created by Executive Pastry Chef Richard and his team, this year you have a selection of 3 very different kinds of Log Cakes.


We got the chance to sample the Briolette Pistachio Lemon Mascarpone Cake. This creation takes the form of a sleigh ride with a generous topping of Raspberry and Blue Berry Jelly.


Cut the cake and you would see multiple layers of  Pistachio Sponge, Lemon Mascarpone Mousse, Vanilla Crumble Base and Purple Glaze. Topped with Chocolate delights on the sides forming the sleigh ride, each bite is a sweet and savoury delight.


This would be a twist from the usual chocolate cakes and would be a conversational starter at any Christmas Dinner. If you are looking for a flavourful treat, this would be it.
