Fengjia Night Market (逢甲夜市) is also known as Fengjia Shopping Town. This Night Market located in Xitun is reputed to be the largest night market in Taiwan.

2 Take photos at the Colourful Rainbow Village

Rainbow Village

Rainbow Village is a small cluster of houses that has colourful street art painted all over the houses and street. This is the creation of former soldier, Huang Yung-Fu. The story is that he wanted to save the village from Demolition and thus decided to paint the houses. It worked and the village is now preserved and designated as a cultural area.

3 Smell a rose Zhongshe Flower Garden

This is a large flower market that is popular among Instagrammers for its beautiful blooms and colourful landscape.

5 Drink the original Bubble Tea at Chun Shui Tang

Chun Shui Tang has been reputed to be the first to create the legendary Bubble Tea in Taiwan. The Bubble Tea craze has since spread throughout the world.

6 Play the Claw Machines

Claw Machines have been popping up at every corner in Taiwan and Taichung is not spared of this as well. The most number of Claw Machines would be located at Taichung. There are those that said that these machines are rigged. From our experience, you need a little skill and lots of luck to win!

7 Scream out loud at Lihpao Discovery Land

Taichung has a huge theme park and it is known as Lihpao Land. This theme park features roller coasters, thrill rides, wave pools, lazy rivers and more.

10 Sit the train at Alishan
