What is DORSCON?

DORSCON stands for Disease Outbreak Response System Condition. it shows the current disease situation in Singapore.

Do note the advice to Public as per DORSCON YELLOW

• Be Socially responsible. If you are sick, stay at home
• Maintain Good Personal Hygiene
• Look out for health advisories

DORSCON Yellow 
The disease is severe and spreads easily but outside of Singapore
or
Spreading in Singapore but typically mild or contained

Given the possibility of community spread in the future, as long as the virus does not mutate and kept under control, we should remain in DORSCON Yello. Should the situation worsen, we would be downgraded to DORSCON Orange . This had happened before during SARS period.
