List of Beaches and Partial Parks Closures with immediate effect until May 4

The beaches are off-limits.

All beaches in Singapore will be closed from today. With the constant barrage of photos showing people flouting safe distancing in beaches and parks, it comes to no surprise, that beaches had been ordered shut.

With 60 billion on the line to tide through this uncertain period and the introduction of Circuit Breakers to curb the spread of the Covid-19, the nation can spare no efforts to make it work. The last thing we need is to see another cluster emerging from this socially irresponsible group that is determined to have their day under the sun, come what may.

As a result, all beaches in Singapore are closed. In addition, selected areas in parks and nature reserves are closed too. Facilities within the parks are also closed for safe distancing and gathering of groups.
