Daily Dose : Too fast too furious

This is a brand new week and we are kicking off with a holiday!
That means no WFH and more time in bed.
Here is a little daily dose to get you going for the week.

1) 548 cases reported
Dorms: 544

The confirmed cases in Singapore remains on the high side for Dorms. For Work Permit Holders outside dorms, it remains a concern despite the group required to serve SHN from 20 Apr to  18 May.

From 19 May, they are allowed to leave home. Since they are off the incubation period, the discovery of new cases is a curiosity. Given the situation in the dorms, it would not be surprising that some would have already been infected from to Apr 20. It may be wiser to test ALL of the Work Permit holders outside dorms if this is the case.

2) The new Community case include another preschool Staff. 

This brings the total preschool staff infected to 8.

3) There are currently 69 active clusters in Singapore
For the first time in many weeks, there is no new cluster reported.

4) The hiring of safe distancing ambassadors, enforcement officers to continue after circuit breaker ends.

Ambassadors are paid up to $2500 per month.

5) 200,000 migrants get special Hair Raya Puasa Meal

 Some 200,000 migrant workers living in dormitories were given a special lunch menu, including mutton biryani and chicken chop rice, to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa on Sunday
