Primary School Registration : Phase 2B Balloting Full School List

22 schools will be up for balloting for Phase 2B.

This is base on the latest information on MOE regarding vacancies and balloting for Phase 2B. 24 schools have applicants exceeding places but only 22 needed balloting . 

Phase 2B is reserved for children who meet the following criteria

• You are a parent volunteer at the school, starting before 1 July 2019 and completing at least 40 hours of service by 30 Jun 2020
• You are a member endorsed by the church or clan directly connected to the school
• You are endorsed as an active community leader

With the higher number of schools having to undergo balloting for Phase 2A2, it is not surprising to see a longer list for Phase 2B. The hottest contested schools are ACS Junior (59 applicants vs 26 places), Nanyang Primary (48 applicants vs 21 places) and Tao Nan Primary ( 53 applicants vs 20 places)

 Interestingly, not ALL schools that had undergone Phase 2A2 balloting had to do balloting for Phase 2B. These schools include Gongshang Primary, Princess Elizabeth Primary, Radin Mas Primary, Red Swastika, Temasek Primary, Westwood primary and Yu Neng Primary. The most surprising one on the list would be Temasek Primary as it had the highest ratio of applicants to vacancies under Phase 2A2 ( 45 ballotings for 13 spaces)

There will be a minimum spot of 20 places in all schools for this phase to ensure continued open access to all primary schools.

The following schools are up for balloting. Balloting results will be out on 30 July. Unlike previous years where parents would head to school for manual balloting, this year it would be done centrally at MOE headquarters through computerised balloting.
