Turkey Delivery by Jeffrey's Christmas Kitchen Review : Christmas Feast at Home

Is it Christmas time?

Last year Christmas was a muted affair. However, we could still celebrate it with our immediate family.

This year, with restrictions down to 5 visitors per household, it would probably remain a family affair. If the Covid19 situation eases, we may be able to have more guests over. To share the joy of Christmas, a celebration at home would definitely be more at ease compared to one outdoors. A gathering would not be complete without a Christmas feast.

When Turkey Delivery by Jeffrey's Christmas Kitchen approached us to trial their seasonal Christmas menu, we decided to have a go at it before the actual day. Our goal was to sample a wider range of Christmas dishes that we hope would wow our guests at our Christmas Party. 

Ordering was a simple affair. Simply head to Turkey Delivery.com to place our orders. Choose your timing and it will be delivered for you. Free delivery is available for orders above $120. Orders below $120 are at $19 per order. Delivery dates will be from Monday to Sunday including public holidays (except for Christmas day). If you prefer, the self-pickup option is also available at AZ Building at Paya Lebar. 

The items are either delivered hot or delivered cooked and chilled. We selected some that needs to be reheat and they are packed nicely in a styrofoam box.

Here is a selection of items we had

 Ribeye Roast Beef $89.90

This is a 1.2kg Roast Beef that comes cooked and chilled. Heating it up was a quick 20 minutes in the oven. Since it is delivered chill, you probably can keep it a day or two in the fridge, though we do recommend cooking on the same day for freshness. The beef is relatively easy to cut and is best eaten with thin slices. The portion is good for 4 to 6 pax.

Tender, peppery and well marinated, every bite is a delight!

Honey Roasted Baby Back Pork Ribs $44.90

This dish was declared to be the best by the boy. It is tender, flavourful and packs a punch at every bite. Best to eat it with your hands. This is the perfect dish for Ribs Lovers. It is 1.2kg and serves 6 pax but 4 hungry guests could easily finish it.

This dish is delivered cooked and chilled, so you would need to warm it up.

Crispy Chicken Wings $16

Boosting an award-winning recipe, this crispy chicken has a distinct rosemary taste in it. It will convert those who usually do not like the conventional fried chicken. It's a mild spice but kids love it.

Delivered hot, so you can have it as a start before the main courses are cooked.

Shepherd's Pie $32.90

This Sheperd's Pie weighs 800g and serves up to 4. It is filled with minced meat, peas, corn and other veggies and topped with smooth mash potato. The Shepherd's Pie is considered comfort food and often a staple in a Christmas feast.

Potato Salad $12.90

As a complement to all the meat, we decided to order a Potato Salad. This creamy side dish with bacon bits is a refreshing dish that goes well with our meaty selection. It's delivered chilled and you can eat it as it is.

Perfect Roast Turkey ( Delivered Hot or Roasted and Chill) From $139.90

A Christmas feast will never be complete without a Christmas Turkey. You could get a Perfect Roasted Turkey delivery roosted and chilled on its own or part of a Christmas Roast Meat Bundle. The chilled version will be a cheaper option compared to the roasted one. The turkey waits for about 4.5 kg before roasting and serves 5 to 8 pax. We are reserving this option for Christmas day itself.

Overall, we are pleased with the dishes we savour. Turkey Delivery will be on our list for the family gathering on Christmas!

PS:  It may not be Christmas, but Thanksgiving is just around the corner. It is always a good time to start the celebration!
