Fireworks are back for New Year's Eve in Singapore!

The Marina Bay Countdown Fireworks are back after 2 years hiatus. This year's fireworks extravaganza will be at the Float at Marina Bay by STAR ISLAND. While that is a paid event, there are still vantage views. You can catch the Fireworks for FREE.

The timing for  New Year's Eve Fireworks will be at the stroke of midnight. However, there should be smaller fireworks displayed by STAR ISLAND on the Float.

Other than the Float, there are plenty of spots you can gather around Marina Bay.

1 Esplanade WATERFRONT

New Year's Eve Fireworks at Esplanade

The Esplanade Waterfront stretches from the Esplanade bridge to the Float. As it is just side by side with the Float, it will provide one of the best vantage points for Fireworks. Free performances will also be for all to enjoy at the Outdoor Theatre.

2 Jubliee Bridge / Esplanade Bridge

New Year's Eve Fireworks Jubliee Bridge

Jubliee Bridge connecting Esplande and Fullerton will be another hotspot. As for Esplanade Bridge, while you can see the fireworks, we reckon the narrow path may be under pedestrian control to ease human traffic.

3 QUEEN ELIZABETH WALK 

Queen Elizabeth Walk is a stretch along the Esplanade Park, is a good spot to catch the fireworks. It faces directly to MBS. It is further away compared to Jubilee Bridge but near enough to be in the thick of the action.

4 Empress Lawn

Victoria Theatre on Empress Lawn will give you a partial view of the fireworks towards the direction of Anderson Bridge.

5 Padang

The Padang has vast space and an unblocked view of the Fireworks.

A popular place for fine dining. It has a linear footpath outside the restaurant and probably a busy one for the night. Great place for capturing MBS and Singapore Flyer as your background. It might get a bit crowded due to the limited space to walk.

8 The Promontory@ Marina Bay

Directly opposite the Float, this is another popular spot to see Fireworks.

Nestled between MBFC and The Sail, The lawn will turn into a lifestyle hub featuring larger-than-life games and playsets, F&B booths, entertainment offerings and chill-out zones.

10 Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade

The Boardwalk, all the way through to Marina Bay Sands, would be a good spot for fireworks. It is also a good spot for those who wish to do some last-minute shopping at MBS before the year ends.

On the other side of the ArtScience Museum is a path facing the Float. It is an excellent spot to view fireworks!

The award-winning bridge between MBS and Marina South. Be there early if you want to use one of the 5 extended platforms for a better view.

Bay East Gardens may be a quieter alternative, but do anticipate a crowd on your way there, as Tanjong Rhu Road is relatively narrow.

This is a photographer's secret. High Street Carpark opposite the Parliament House offers a unique view with the Parliament House in the foreground.

Far away from the maddening crowd, you can have an unblocked glimpse of the fireworks from the Keppel Marina Desalination Plant. This spot is touted as Marina Barrage's little sibling. Getting there can be a hike, but it will most likely be secluded compared to everywhere else.
