Secondary School Cut off Point for Express 2023 ( Indicative)

Congrats to those who got into their school of choice. For those contemplating an appeal, we tabulated the Cut off Points for appeals. The information here is sourced directly from the respective schools. Take it as a reference and call the respective schools to confirm the Cut off Point for Appeal.

The schools for this list were based on COP 20 and below (2022 AL). As COP above 21 tends to have less volatility than in previous years, we omitted it from the list. Some schools on the list were unreachable at the time of print.

We compared the 2023 COP and the 2022 COP, and there were a few surprises. A few schools dropped +2 points, with only 1 from last year's list that had significantly improved ( Kuo Chuan Presbyterian School -2). 

This implies that this year's cohort may not fare as well as previous years. Another reason for the drop is that this is the Tiger year batch of students. Normally, birth rates tend to drop in the year of the Tiger, resulting in more school vacancies.
