SP Tariff for April to Jun 2023

 

SP Tariff for 2 quarter 2023 is out.

The Electricity Tariff has fallen for the 3rd consecutive quarter. The new quarter's tariff from 1 Apr to 30 June 2023 is at 27.43 cents/kWh (w/o GST) and 29.62 cents / kWh with GST.

Despite the fall, it has increased by 32% since Jan 2021.

 

If you are looking to renew your contract with OEM electrical supplier, it may be wise to wait out for another quarter or two. Natural gas prices have been falling and have not been reflected in the current price for Q2 2023.
