Starhub Permier+ Service failed on last day of EPL : No Compensation Offered

 Starhub is consistent.

The first and last days of the English Premier League (EPL) are known to have high viewership for the matches. Like clockwork, issues with watching EPL on Starhub arose from the first minute of the kickoff for the matches played on the last day.

This brings back memories of the opening day match.

Many customers took to Starhub to express their horrors when all they get is a blank screen. 

Instead of acknowledging that there may be an issue, all the customer got was a tone-deaf response to trouble shoot the set.

Finally, it was revealed that it was due to 'satellite transmission', meaning that any suggestion to troubleshoot the set was completely useless. 

Interestingly, the whole Starhub App was down and messages from the App implies that it is a server issue.  

While some customers requested a refund, Starhub had decided none would be given, despite providing the services customers had paid. Starhub should really look to improve their PR team on this, as the reply does not sit well with irate EPL fans.

To sum up, it is another failure for Starhub on the most important day for EPL fans.
