Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2024 Guide : Go Kart Arena, Winter Playground, Firework Countdown

Marina Bay Singapore Countdown is back!

The annual edition is confirmed to be held at Marina Bay for another year.

Expect spectacular fireworks, inspiring light projections and a host of exhilarating experiences that will be happening all around Marina Bay, Singapore.

STAR ISLAND Fireworks

STAR ISLAND returns with fireworks choreographed to tell a story of reflection and hope. Unlike previous years, this year, the fireworks will be in a more central location of the Bay, offering a captivating viewing experience from more angles.

Three chapters will unfold at intervals in the hour leading up to midnight. After that, it will culminate in a 12-minute long grand finale to celebrate Singaporeans's unyielding spirit.

Light Projection - Brightening Lives 

A captivating series of light projection shows will be presented with the Majurity Trust. From Dec 26 to Dec 31, feast your eyes on inspiring light projection artworks on the facades of three iconic Marina Bay Landmarks-The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, The Merlion and The ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands. 

These light projections will be based on the original artworks of local students.

Ice Magic: Winter Wonderland

Asia's largest touring pop-up winter playground will open from Dec 9 to Jan 21 at Bayfront Event Space. This year's edition will be bigger and better, with taller and longer snow slopes and dual-lane ice slides for thrill seekers. There will also be family-friendly rides, such as a merry-go-round on a snowy landscape. 

Majestic ice sculptures, Ice Magic arcades, and food and beverage stalls will also be at the same venue.

Turbocharged - Go Kart

A new addition to the trills and spills will be Turbocharged. This is a new immersive Go-Kart Areana right in the heart of the city. From 14 to 31 Dec, ticket-goers will be able to enjoy action-packed races at the Bayfront Even Space with the iconic Marina Bay Skyline as your backdrop. 

Ticket Holders can also head over to the rooftop deck next to the track to find a scenic spot to watch fireworks. The circuit will also have refreshment stalls for both drivers and spectators.

Let's Celebrate 2024

Mediacorp's annual countdown concert-themed "Hit Parade" is back with an exciting lineup of home-grown and international acts. There will be a live DJ segment, food and beverages as well as carnival games where attractive prizes can be won. The countdown can be viewed on mewatch, Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel and Channel 5 from 10 pm on 31 Dec.

Come Together - Esplanade Theatres

There will be a series of free performances at the DBS Foundations Outdoor Theatre and Esplanade Concourse throughout Dec 2023. These will feature local musicians. The lineup will be announced closer to the dates.
