UOB CNY New Notes : How to Book?

Booking of New Notes for UOB will open on 17 Jan. 

It's the time of the year again to head down to the bank to exchange new notes for CNY

UOB will have reservations for either Fit-for-giving notes or New Notes for CNY this year.

Here are the details 

Booking Dates 

Booking opens on 17 Jan for collection from 24 Jan to 31 Jan 2024

Bookings open on 24 Jan for collection from 1 Feb to 8 Feb 2024

Bookings are required. Only elderly customers aged 60 and above or persons with special needs can walk in. However, the physical exchange of notes is based on a first come, first serve basis.

How to book

1. Visit uob.com.sg/lny or log into UOB Personal  Internet Banking or the UOB TMRW App.
2. Key in name, last 5 alphanumeric characters of NRIC/PP and valid Singapore number
3. Select Notes Denominations
4. Select Preferred branch, date and time of appointment
5. Click on 'Send OTP' and key in the valid OTP Sent to your mobile number
6. Click on 'Verify OTP'

A confirmation page will be shown and an SMS sent to your mobile number upon successful reservations. Each customer is only allowed on successful reservations for new and fit-for-gifting notes, respectively.

How much can I collect?

• New/ Fit $2 notes: $200 only
• New/Fit $10 notes: Up to $500 (in multiples of $100)
• New/Fit $50 Notes: Upo to $500 (in multiples of $100
• Maximum amount: Up to $1200 only.

No amendments can be made once confirmed.

Pop Up ATMs

New and Fit notes from ATMS will be available islandwide from 24 Jan to 8 Feb from 10am to 10 pm and 9 Feb from 10am to 1 pm.
