TEL 4 Stations : Locations and What to do there?

TEL is going to open in 2024!

TEL 4 Stations have officially been handed to SMRT. That means construction works have been completed and testing done. The final step will be the integration test to ensure TEL 4 will run seamlessly with TEL 1 to TEL 3.

These are all the TEL Stations and what you can expect from each station. The stations will officially opens on June 23. Free Preview and Travel along these stations on June 21, 10am to 9pm.

Tanjong Rhu station is located at Tanjong Rhu Road, serving the residents of Tanjong Rhu, staying in condos such as Casuarina Cove, Water Place, Pebble Bay, Sanctuary Green and more.

It is also next to the Tanjong Rhu Park Connector, which is a good place for a relaxing jog to either Gardens by the Bay or Kallang River.

Across the river is the Singapore Indoor Stadium. This station would also serve visitors to the Singapore Indoor Stadium for sports events or concerts.

Katong Park (TE24)
Attractions: Katong Park Hidden Fort, East Coast Park

Katong Park will serve residents along Meyer Road, Mountbatten and students from Duman High School.  It is also a gateway to East Coast Park.

Built next to Katong Park, it also has significance for history buffs. Katong Park is one of Singapore's oldest parks and even has a hidden fort buried underneath it!

For foodies, we recommend a visit to Cafe Melba for brunch!

Tanjong Katong(TE25)

Tanjong Katong station serves the residences of Amber and Jln Seaview.

There are eateries along Tankjong Katong to be discovered. The station is also located near the Chinese Swimming Club. You can also access East Coast Park, with Coastal Playgroce within walking distance.

Marine Parade (TE26)
Attractions: Parkway Parkway, i12 Katong, Joo Chiat and East Coast Eateries, Perankan Heritage. East Coast Park Parkland Green

Marine Parade Station will probably have the largest footfall among all the TE4, especially with incoming visitors from all over Singapore.

It is the gateway to the famous Joo Chiat and East Coast Road eateries.

Joo Chiat is also the home of Peranakan heritage. Here, you can still find old Perankan houses, dine in Perankan restaurants like Old Bibik's Peranakan Kitchen and Perankan Inn and explore Perankan Heritage.

Do check out the Katong Murals while you are there.

Marine Parade station is also close to several malls. The most popular ones are Parkway Parade and i12 Katong. There will also be an underground mall next to Marine Parade Station that will have 12,370 square meters of shopping area and will connect Marine Parade Station to Marine Terrace Station!

Hope over to East Coast Park via the underpass, and you will reach Parklane Green. Here, you can enjoy a bite by the sea and watch the world go by.

Marine Terrace (TE27)
Attractions: Residence and School Enclave, Siglap Park Connector

Serving the residential enclave of Marine Terrace, this station is close to St Patricks Secondary, CHIJ Katong, Ngee Ann Primary and Victoria JC.  The station along the TE27 line will have the most schools.

Joggers can also use the Siglap Park Connector close by to get to Kembangan or East Coast Road

Siglap (TE28)
Attractions: East Coast Seafood Center

Siglap station is located in the private enclave near Laguna Park and Seaside Residence. If you are a student at Victoria School, you will probably be using this station a lot.

It is also near the Siglap Linear Park, and a walk through it will take you to quaint Siglap Eateries like the Black Pearl Steakhouse, Baker and Cook and Tiong Bahru Bakery.

You can also cross over to East Coast Park and you would reach East Coast Seafood Center and a longer walk to East Coast Lagoon Village.

Bayshore (TE29)

For now, there is little at Bayshore. But if you are a Lucky Heights or Costal Del Sol and The Bayshore resident, you would be glad that Bayshore is opening soon.

With a brand new town planned for Bayshore, things could change in 5 year time!
