Glasshouse Creamery Review

Have you been to the Glasshouse Creamery?

While we were driving on Tampines Street, I spotted this Glasshouse at the side of Alps Residences.

It's interesting to find a building like this nested in the heartlands, and it's hard to resist heading there for dessert since we just had our dinner. It opened only a few months ago, and this place has already picked up a few fans. The high cathedral ceilings and a tall floor-to-ceiling glass facade added to the charm of the aptly named Glasshouse Creamery.

Inside, you have a bright room with a light wooden finish that gives it an airy vibe. A place like this would not look out of place in places like Australia, but to find it in the heartlands adds to its appeal.

The Glasshouse Creamery serves mainly ice cream and waffles and has a selection of tea and finger food. 

We had their signature waffles and ice cream.

We opted for the Duo Set, which comes with waffles and two scopes of ice cream. The flavours we chose were Blue Pea Lemongrass and Pistacho. Both were great, but the unique taste of blue pea lemongrass stole our hearts.

Verdict

Glasshouse Creamery will be a good stop if you are in the East and looking for a cool spot with great vibes. The unique structure itself makes the trip worth it.
