Myodive Massage Gun Review: Your personal massager

Have you tried a massage gun?

A massage gun is a compact device that uses pulses to ease muscle tension, boost lymphatic flow, enhance circulation, and alleviate pain. It's great for reducing post-workout soreness and aiding injury recovery.

There are plenty of massage guns on the market. From cheaper knockoffs to premium models, you can find one that suits your budget. However, not all offer the same functionality and quality build. This is why I decided to try the Myodive Sonic Therapeutic Massage Gun.

Myodive Sonic Therapeutic Massage Gun: First Impression

Crafted in Germany, this massage gun is lightweight at 800g and easy to hold compared to others I have tried. It is built with an aerospace-grade aluminium chassis and a smooth silicon grip at the handle. At first glance, you might mistake this for a hairdryer. The package includes a handy carrying case for the massage gun and accessories and a USB-C charging cable.

Retailing at $199, it strikes a balance between affordability and quality, and it is easy to see why the price point warrants the price tag.

Functions

This is a 5-speed massage gun. From the readings on the LED display at the back, it has a speed ranging from 1300 to 2500 rpm. My personal preference for the 2nd and 3rd speed as the faster speeds can a tad too fast. Regardless of the speed, it is  relatively quiet when in used.

The massage gun can be charged with USB-C and this will give a continuous batttery life of 5-7 hours. What makes the massage gun unique are the 5 attachment heads that you can interchange for different uses.

Ball head

Designed to target major muscles groups like quadriceps and glutues maximus, this ball head is also effective for relieving muscle and joint soreness. If you have a sprain neck from getting out on the wrong side of the bed, this will be great for neck and back muscle.

Bullet Head

This is used for targetting joints, deep tissues , trigger points and small muscle groups like ankle.  Among the 5 attachement heads, it is the least I used for the massage gun.

Air Cushion Head

If you want a relaxing massage on sensitive muscles of the body, use this air cushion head at low speed for the best effect. I find this great for targetting the tighs and calves after a jog.

U Shaped Head

This is targetted at spine, neck and shoulder areas. It can also be use on soft tissue body parts.

Flat Head

If you want a tool that is suitable for all body parts, the flat head is designed as an all rounder for this massage gun.

Personal Experience

I would use this massage gun after a gym session or run.

Each session will be less than 10 minutes. The focus on each muscle group will also be less than 3 mintues. I would use this mainly on my thighs and calves after a run and on the shoulders and back after a gym session.

While the results may not be immediate, I do feel less sore after use. It's a useful muscle relaxant especially when you have a strenous workout. Overall, it is a quality massage gun that is pratical and easy to carry around.

The Myodive Sonic Massage Gun comes with a 30 days free trial an\d 1.5 year warranty.
