Taiwan The Lucky Land Draw : How to win NTD 5000

 

If you are heading for a trip to Taiwan before June 2025, you have to read this.

Taiwan has a Lucky Draw that allows you to win Cash and an Accommodation voucher worth NTD 5000 from May 1, 2023, to June 30, 2025. There will be 500,000 lucky winners for this contest. I used to think it was a hoax until I won one on my last trip to Taipei.

How to join?

1 Visitors to Taiwan would have to register at least 1 day and within 7 days before arrival on the Taiwan the Lucky Land website to qualify. Do note that you MUST register before arrival to qualify.

2 A QR code will be sent to your email. Print a copy or save the QR code to your phone.

3 Upon arrival to Taiwan, head to the event area outside the Arrival Hall after immigration. Scan the QR code and play a game of catching a ball.

4 Catch a ball before the timer ends and see if you win a prize.

What can you win?

You must choose your prizes during registration. You can choose accommodation vouchers or a cash prize. We recommend choosing a cash prize.

The cash prize and accommodation value will be NTD 5000. For Cash price, it will be stored in an iPass or EasyCard. 

How to use

If you opt for the Cash option, you can use the EasyCard for transportation, food, shopping or selected tourist attractions.

Some of the options are as follows

Transportations: Use on Metro Taipei and Buses

Supermarkets: Convenience Stores like Family Mart, 7-Eleven and hypermart like Carrefour.

Food and Beverages:  You can use at Tea's Teatop, Starbucks, Koi Cafe, Food Republic, Mister Donut and more

Amusement: Taipei Zoo, Lihpao Resort, Taipei Children's Amusement Park
