Fufu Cat Cafe Ximending Review : Cat Lover's Cafe
You must check out Fufu Cat Cafe if you are a Cat Lover in Taipei.
Nestled in the bustling Ximending, this cat cafe is the place to go for those looking to relax after all the shopping in the area.
Located on the 2nd level in the centre of Ximending, this cat cafe offers a separate cafe and cat area.

While the cafe looks enticing, most patrons are in the cat area. The Cat Cafe is open to those aged 13 and above.

There are specific rules, but they are generally easy to follow, such as not carrying cats.
![]() |
The cats' area is a cosy area with different levels.
![]() |
There are plenty of spots for the cats to laze around and climb.
![]() |
The main attraction here will be the cats, and there are plenty.
![]() |
The cat area has about a dozen or more cats lazing around.
![]() |
The variety of cats here is good, from fluffy cats to furless ones.

Some more active ones will come to you and allow you to touch them. You are allowed to take photos as you wish.

There are reviews that cats would stick to regulars. However, when we were there for the first time, the cats were friendly and would come to us on their own accord.

Overall, the environment is clean, and the cats all look healthy and well-groomed. These are signs that this place is well-managed. For us, the experience was very positive and relaxing.
How much does it cost?
![]() |
There is no entrance fee, but you pay NTD 50 (SGD 2) per 10 minutes up to a maximum charge of 500. You also get to have unlimited drinks. It's a reasonable fee, considering a drink at Starbucks can already cost you NTD150 per cup.

You can even get a souvenir on while you are there.

Be aware that Taipei cat cafes have very different standards from shop to shop. Shope cafes bill themselves as cat cafes but only have a singular cat inside.
