National Day Activities in Singapore 2024

Want to soak in the National Day atmosphere?

For those who missed out on NDP tickets at the Padang, here are alternative spots you can go to celebrate Singapore's 59th Birthday.

NDP @ Padang 
Aug 9

For those lucky ones, prepare for a spectacular event at the Padang with Pre-parade segments, a parade ceremony, a total defence display, performances and fireworks!

NDP @ Promontory
Aug 9

If you want to get close to the NDP activities, head to the Marina Bay area to see the Presidential Gun Salute, the State Flag Flypast, a High-Speed chase in the water, the Red Lions' descent, and Fireworks!

Large crowd expected, so best to take public transport and be there early.

NTUC and NDP EXCO also organize a Bay celebration at the Promontory. This is a ticketed event with live performances and fringe activities. Details are available here.

NDP 2024 @ Marina Barrage 
Aug 9, 10am-9pm

Get ready for a day of fun at Marina Barrage. From guided tours to workshops to a live screening of NDP on the green roof from 5 p.m., this promises to be a fun day.  

Protip: Take the new TEL to Marina Bay and you will exit at the doorsteps of Marina Barrage!

National Day ODYSSEY @ Asian Civilisation Museum 
Aug 9, 1-630pm

ACM celebrates National Day with drop-in, hands on activities and tours. Guests can build a mini pagoda with LEGO, upcycle notebooks, and more.

National Day Celebrations @ National Museum 
1-9Aug, 930am-12om

Celebrate National Day at National Museum with an outdoor and inflatable playground featuring iconic local HDB playground designs, drop-in craft activities, a scavenger hunt in the museum and outdoor light installations.

There will be a live telecast of the National Day Parade from 530 pm at the Front Lawn.

National Day Celebrations @ Singapore Discovery Center

A National Day Special Exhibition, 'Yours Sincerely', will be held at SDC.  Other events include National Day Commemorative Magnets ( 3-11 Aug), special National Day Programmes, Wonderland Movie screening, and more!
