How to maximize Supermarket CDC Vouchers

The $500 CDC vouchers are in!

You can claim your CDC vouchers at go.gov.sg/cdcv

If you do not know, you will have $250 vouchers to use in participating supermarkets and another $250 to use at Hawkers and Heartland merchants. Here is a hack to increase the value of the Supermarket CDC vouchers. 

NTUC Fairprice

Receive a $6 return voucher with every $60 nett spend using CDC Supermarket vouchers in a single receipt. Offer is valid till 19 May 2025 or while vouchers last. This means you can receive an additional $24 in return vouchers. 

The return vouchers have no minimum spend, and multiple $6 Fairprice return vouchers can be used in a single transaction. It can be redeemed a day after issuance and is valid till 15 June 2025.

Giant, Cold Storage, Jason's Deli, CS Fresh

Giant also offers a $6 return voucher with a minimum of $60. It can be redeemed with no minimum spend on the date after issuance till 27 May 2025. However, it did not state that it will be a $6 voucher for every $60 Nett or a cap of $6 per transaction, regardless of amount, as long as it is above $60

This is also applicable to Cold Storage, CS Fresh and Jason's Deli under the  Giant umbrella.

Use in 'discount' Supermarkets like Ang Mo Supermarkets

CDC Supermarket vouchers can also be used at Ang Mo Supermarkets. Sometimes you can find good deals at these locations. 

We had seen deals like Nescafe can coffee 6 packs going at 20% cheaper compared to NTUC. The savings you get can be more than the $6 return vouchers depending on the item purchased.
