Dr Seuss' The Cat in the Hat is coming back!

SPONSORED REVIEW

“The sun did not shine. It was too wet to play. So we sat in the house. All that cold, cold, wet day.”
-Dr Seuss' The Cat in the Hat

The Cat in the Hat by SRT is back!

Based on the all-time favourite book by Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat was developed into a magically witty play by Britain’s National Theatre. This production was faithfully reproduced by SRT’s The Little Company (TLC) for its Asia Premiere before it toured to Sydney Opera House in 2012. Every Dr. Seuss’s story is a lesson in grammar, syntax, scansion, phonics, morality, ethics, tolerance, and the human spirit.

Cat in the Hat Circa 2012

The Cat in the Hat was our first SRT production that we had watched back in 2012. At that time Little Lou was at a tender age of 2 , yet he enjoyed every minute of the play. We are sure that this time round, a more 'matured' boy would probably lip synch along this production given that he had seen the DVD of the show for more than 100 times since our first encounter.

We think this production is the perfect excuse for family outing. If you have not been to any SRT production before, we are 100% sure that this one will make you a lifelong fan like us!
