Halloween is just round the corner.
It is the night where little ghouls of all shapes and form roam about town with their pumpkins. If you would like your little one to join in the fun, a night out at Safari Boo @ River Safari will surely yield a fruitful returns for the little treats.
The Wackies had a sneak peek at Safari Boo during the media preview. Dressed as the Hook Boy and Little Vampire, the two little boogeyboys will bring you another this Merry-Not-Scary Kids event.

Safari Boo opens its doors to public at 6pm on selected dates. If you think you will have a chance to view ALL the exhibits , you might be tad disappointed. The main reason for this trip is to journey along the magical trick or treat trail with fairy tale stars from under the sea.

Nonetheless you will still get a chance to view some of the exhibits along the way and even touch the mean monitor lizard (actually it is not mean, not one little bit)
MERMAID MAGIC
Manatee Exhibit 730 , 830 and 930 pm
Spot a skeleton feeding the Manatees. They may not be in costumes, but they look magnificent on their own
IT'S A SNAP
The Trick or Treat trail is one fantastic journey we had been to. Along the way , we met Mermaids, Captain Neptune, Jack and the Beanstalk and many more. Our favourite is Pinocchio and Geppetto. Don't forget to bring your cameras along as we guarantee you that there are many photo opportunities with the story book character

It was a bountiful evening as we were sprinkled with Fairy Dust and transported to the world of Fairy Tales.
FURRY TALES
Boat Plaza 7 pm , 8pm , 9 pm
The Fairy tale theme continued with a Live Performances. (7,8 and 9pm) Watch your favourite fairy tales characters come to live with a twist. This being River Safari, the stars of the shows are the animals themselves. Have a chance to pet some animals as you hear the eccentric tale of 'Short White' told with a twist.
There is also a costume contest. Come dress in your scariest outfits and be picked by the Fairy Godmother with a prize!

The fun continues at Hansel & Gretel's House of Fun. This is a mini play activity area specially set up for kids
This is a mini play activity area specially set up for kids. Enter the colourful world of crafts, learn about the animals and even spin the Witches Wheel for a little treat.
The River Safari is the perfect place for a little Halloween Trick or Treat. The setting is eerily perfect for a child to enjoy a ghostly night out.
So if you want to have a not so scary night for Halloween for kids, Safari Boo gets our thumbs up. Best of all, during the selected dates, kids enter free!
