Children’s Season  - Island Adventures 2013
Island Adventures is back!. Expect an exciting line-up of child- centric programming which includes fun interactive displays and special activities. Be and old-time hawker, be a tailor of cultural costumes, make your own wayang gear,  learn how photo studios of the 1950s work. Each child gets a complimentary activity book . Optional craft kit are available at $5 which includes programmes, Island Adventures Roving Acts and Island Tales. Outdoor film screenings of Walt Disney classics The Aristocrats and Pinocchio will be held in June.

Art Attack! – Children’s Season at TPM

Barter Trading Workshop
Learn how people traded back in the days before money was invented!

Light vs Dark Exhibition: Stamps and Collectibles


Be treated to an impressive display of “Star Wars” stamps from the Singapore Philatelic Museum’s collection and over 2,000 memorabilia and collectibles on loan from private collectors.  Highlights include Singapore Post MyStamp featuring the movie characters, stamps from USA, a breathtaking display of the iconic “Emperor’s Arrival Scene” featuring over 800 figurines, life-size R2-D2 as well as R2-D2 miniature USA postboxes and over 900 unique movie action figures. This exhibition is a collaborative effort between avid Singaporean memorabilia collectors and the Singapore Philatelic Museum.

Megabugs Return!” Exhibition





Enter a world of enormous insects and creepy crawlies at ‘Megabugs Return!’ Exhibition. Featuring oversized animatronics and static bugs, visitors are surrounded by giant grass blades and flowers and will immediately made to feel that they are smaller than the size of an ant. Look out for the collection of live insects and rare specimens as well as an informative gallery with multiple opportunities for guests to participate in various hands-on activities and get bugged-out!

 Singapore Innovative Children Festival 2013
17th-23 June 
The festival will showcase over 100 amazing and creative programmes over one week that will nurture children’s creativity and imagination acknowledging the value and importance of arts in education and life-learning.
 

Aimed at children from 7 months to 12 years of age, the festival will present international theatre, contemporary dance, music, robot building workshops, innovative reading programmes and parent seminars from world renowned speakers on child play and education. The events will take place at multiple locations across Singapore including the National Library Building, public and regional libraries and the Drama Centre.

The Balinese Princess and the Funky Monkey


When Queen Agung Dewi passes away, the lovable Little Princess Ayu and her best friend, Kren-the cheekiest monkey on the island, must save the magical kingdom of Bali and the lovable forest monkeys from the terrible fiery mountain- Mount Agung before it’s too late. Robot Story Time
