It's a Friday, which means weekend is just round the corner.

Since we are on the topic of dining and being a Friday, it is apt to introduce TGIFridays in I12 Katong.
TGIFriday has been around in Singapore for quite a few. In its past, it's the place to be when you want to chill down with friends over the weekend. It has been almost a decade since our parents step into a TGIFridays outlet and with Mom's birthday , we found the perfect excuse to explore the place.
The place is decorated with heavy US influence. Life size model of Bruce Lee, memorabilia such as Blues brothers, Star Wars and Jimi Hendrix forms part of the decor.

We immediately warm up to the pop culture influence e of the place, going about the corners of the resturant to see what other interesting items we can spot.

The best seats in the house are those U shaped booth seats behind Bruce Lee. Each booth seat has different memorabilia surrounding it, adding to the hip quotient of the place.

There is an added bonus if you choose to dine in from Mon- Thurs, kids eat free from the kid's menu with every adult meal purchased.

So what did we have for dinner?
We start with
Chicken Franks (Free) for kids.

Sirloin Steak (29.90)
We ordered an extra
Chicken Finger Blt($13.90) just in case we go hungry .
Dad had his favourite
Baby back ribs (29.90)

We ended the meal with a Sundae.
Verdict
If you are into western fare, TGIFridays would be a good place to go. The atmosphere is charming and makes you feel like you are eating in a typical American diner. As for the food, we were not particularly wow by it as it is typical western fare. Nonetheless the overall dining experience is enjoyable, with the decor giving TGIFriday an edge.
It was a weekday while we were there, yet we do feel relax during our meals.I guess in TGIFridays,
