The League Against Evil: A DC Super Heroes Exhibition @ SingaporePhilatelic Museum

DC super heros @ Singapore Philatelic Museum

The DC Superheros are in town to celebrate BATMAN 75th anniversary. Guess where are they holding this party?

At Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM)!

This has been a favourite venue for famed Superheros and famous movie characters from Ironman to Star wars. There is no chance that we will miss this, so up, up and away we go to SPM.

Life size comic poster.
The first thing that struck us when we approached SPM was the life size posters of Superman and Wonder woman at the entrance. Definitely a photo opportunity moment for comics buffs and fans.

The exhibition is held in conjunction with Warner Bros.' celebration of the 75th anniversary of DC Comics Super Hero, BATMAN and it is part of Children Season 2014.
Spot the Wacky!
Batman may have turn 75 , but he looks great for someone who turns 75. In fact we think he looks better today than he was at 25. Just spot the difference from the above and below picture.
Not bad for an old dude.

For Batman fans, the bat mobile displays source from different genres.

And if you look hard enough, you can also learn the history and origins of DC Comics and the "World's Greatest Super Heroes" - SUPERMAN, BATMAN and WONDER WOMAN, and the JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA from the exhibits.
DC toys
Limited edition life-size busts of Batman and Superman are on display too.
More toys!
Some of the displays are eerily realistic if you ask me.
The Joker
There is one particular display that caught the eye of the boys. That is the DC Superheros chess set that has both the good and bad guys on both side.

Sorry boys, I don't think it is for sale.
Guess who wants the chess set?
Don't forget to view the interesting collections on display such as DC Comic Super Heroes from Singapore Philatelic Museum's permanent collection, special issue of Singapore Post MyStamps on DC Comics and BATMAN.

After all this is a Stamp museum .

Compared to the previous 2 exhibitions we had experienced, The League Against Evil: A DC Super Heroes Exhibition is much smaller in scale . The center foyer was not utilized for exhibits and the major exhibits are house in one room on the ground level. If you are just viewing the exhibit, it would take less than an hour to cover them.
Activites for Children season 2014
Since it is children season, there are actitivites to keep the children engage for this exhibit. Mark your calendars.
