Jedi Training :  Trials of the Temple

Our last trip to Disneyland HK brought us some new interesting finds. Star Wars has expanded its universe in Disneyland and has now taken over Tomorrow land. With the force strong in Disneyland HK, we had to hone our Jedi skills to prepare ourselves for battle. Our first stop was at the Jedi Training : Trials of the temple , a newly open attraction for 2016.

Jedi Apprentice at Disneyland HK

To be train as a Jedi, you would need to book your session early. Slots are available  throughout the day but you would like to book early as it gets full house for most sessions. Booking is done at the Space Traders located next to the stage.

The Jedi Training is actually a 'performance' by your child on stage . For stage adverse children, it might be a bit daunting to be in front of a huge crowd. Nonetheless, give them a light saber, tell them they will  battle Darth Vader and the fears will disappear. After all...

Darth Vader and the Seven Sisters Inquisitor

Each child will be armed with their personal light sabers and will be taught the way of the force in preparation for the battle. Darth Vader, together with the Seven Sisters Inquisitor will invade the temple to destroy the young apprentices.

Depending on your position, you may battle either of the Sith Lord.

The training was so good that a light saber duel could not determine the winner. It's time to use the Force!

Star Wars invades Disneyland

After the intense Jedi Training, it might be time for the young padawans to juice up. Head to the Kiosk outside for their popcorn and juice fix. You might like to get the Darth Vader Popcorn bucket or the BB8 Slipper as memento.

If you like to get more exclusive Star Wars merchandise, head to Space Traders. You can even make your own customised Light Saber that lights up!

If thrill is your middle name, head to Hyperspace mountain for a ride and experience a dog fight between Tie Fighters and Rebel X-Wing fighter.

Bottomline, being fans of Star Wars, we love the new upgrades in Tomorrowland. Hopefully there are more star wars related theme merge into Disneyland. Together with the new Marvel attractions and existing Pixal franchise,  Disneyland is slowly transforming from an enclave for Disney princesses to a place where boys love to hang out too. Thumbs up from us!
