Atmosphere Bistro at Parkland Green has launched a family-friendly menu.
Designed to delight the taste-buds of both young and old, this restaurant makes an ideal family outing spot with the sea as your neighbour.
Location
Located in Parkland Green, Atmosphere Bistro is at the unit nearest to the sea. The restaurant has an open concept setting with an enclosed air condition area.
We recommend dining outside for the sea view. Even with the blazing noon sun, we felt cool by the sea breeze. Alfresco dining on a weekend afternoon is an absolute treat for the senses.
Atmosphere Bistro comes with a small play area complete with a slide for kids to play while waiting for food. With such a feature, it is clear to see that this is a kid's friendly place to dine.
The Menu
With a recent overhaul of the menu, Atmosphere Bistro creates fusion food with an emphasis on West meets Japan influence. This is an unusual, yet appealing combination. We had tried a few dishes on the menu and was impressed with the selection.

As a start to prick our tastebuds, we had the Garlic Butter Mussels. This dish is served with whole shell blue mussels in garlic butter cream served with Roti Prata. A decent blend of East and West to start the ball rolling

The Garlic Butter Mussel may not suit little kids taste-buds, but this definitely will. Do be warned that the servings are pretty big, so order it as a shared portion. The mixture of Pork Bratwurst, Italian Sausage, Chicken Chess Sausage served with whole grain mustard will satisfy even the most demanding child.

Looking for an alternative to meat, the Premium Seafood Rice Bowl would make a good healthy alternative. With Tiger Prawns, Cod Fish, Scallops, Octopuses, USA Asparagus, Cherry Tomatoes, Caramelized Onions, Sauteed Mushrooms and Alfafa served with Garlic Butter Sauce, it is a savoury choice for seafood lovers.
Flaming Whiskey Pork Knuckle ($48.60)
The star of the season would be the Christmas Special- The Flaming Pork Knuckle. Watching the presentation itself is a sight intending to stimulate the fiery passion within you. The dish is topped with Whisky on Flame and contains 1kg of Hind Shank served with sauteed mushroom, sauteed onion, mixed salaf, while grain mustard and whisky brown sauce.

The dish serves 3-4. One of the best pork knuckle we tasted ( must be the whiskey), each bite was crunchy and delectable. Bang for the bucks dish iohm. This dish is only available for a limited period ( till 2nd Jan) and we highly recommend you to consider this as an option for your New Year meals with family

We ended our meals with a selection of choice desserts. Kicking off is the Coconut Chessy Toast. This crisp toasted bread is stuffed with Mozzarella Cheese and served with coconut ice cream on top of the corn.

The generous amount of mozzarella cheese will give a tough fight to the Pizza variants. For that alone, it is worth an order.
