Meriton Suites World Tower Sydney Review Blog

Meriton suites is a well-known brand in Australia for its apartments

The last time we stayed in Sydney, we had chosen the Meriton Suites World Tower. We decided to do the same for our self-drive Sydney trip as it was an apartment that is well located to do the things we want.

Look up!

The last trip was a 2-bedroom apartment. This time around we had an upgrade the 3-bedroom apartment. It was a nice surprise given that we had booked the apartment via booking.com and was not expecting any upgrades.

The lobby

In case you do not know, The Meriton Suites World Tower are located at the topmost 17 levels of this 77th  level building. It has 115 rooms to choose from and it located at Sydney tallest building. If you want to stay at the highest point in Sydney, you have to choose Meriton Suites World Towers -the tallest residential building in the city.
How high is Meriton Suites World Tower?

Check-in time was at 2 pm. It was not long before we get to explore our 'home' for the next few days in Sydney.

We were given the corner suite facing the Pacific Ocean. Upon entering, we found a very spacious living room with a dining table that seats 6. At 115 sq meters, space is an in abundance here.
Desk

If you really need to work during the holidays, there is a desk for you to work on. It also comes with an iPad that you could use to get your daily news.

One thing good about the apartment over hotels are the kitchen and laundry. If you are staying a while in Sydney, you would have realised that eating out is not exactly cheap. With a fully stock kitchen, you could easily whip up your own meals there. As for the laundry, it would be great to use for those on longer stays.

If you are heading out to Sydney, our advice is to choose an apartment. The benefits are that you get a much larger space for the same or lesser price. With families, it will make a great option as everyone will be in the same apartment instead of getting connecting or separate rooms at the hotels.

Bedrooms

The 3-bedroom option is great for a family of up to 6 members. With a family of 4 and grandparents, it will make the perfect play to stay in Sydney.

The Master bedroom comes with a walk-in closet and an attached bath.

It was as luxurious as it can get.

Amenities by Kevin. Murphy are provided for in the room.
Amenities
The other 2 bedrooms are decked in a similar style. We love the simplicity and sophistication of the room.

The best part was the bed .... it was one of the best bed we had slept in a while. In fact, it was so good that we enquire where we could get one for ourselves!

We love the little touches such as bottled drinks beside your bed.

What made the stay really special was the view.

The room was located on the 69th floor. At that level, you could see the whole of Sydney as not many buildings come close to the height.

The view was equally fabulous in the evening. If we had our way, we could simply choose to sit by the window all day and night.

Love what you see?

Surrounding
World Square Shopping Center
Meriton Suites Sydney is perfectly located in Sydney. It stands right on top of World Square Shopping centre where there is a Coles to get your groceries. If you intend to rent a car, Avis / Budget is in the same vicinity too.
3 Wise Monkeys
There are plenty of restaurants and pubs lining the streets around the building. It's an inter-continent fare as we spotted Japanese, Malaysia, Greek, Korean and many more different restaurants along the street.

Market City
You might even want to head to Chinatown or Market city to have dim sum or shop at Paddy's Market.

For sightseeing, you can visit the nearby Australia Museum or St Mary's Cathedral to check out uniquely Sydney attractions.

Or consider a walk to the nearby Darling Harbour to visit three attractions at one go.
Wildlife Sydney, Madame Tussauds and Sealife Sydney Aquarium are located side by side.

If you are visiting, do get your combo tickets that cover all these attractions from Klook and save a whopping 50% or more off the admission price.

If you plan to head to Circular Quay or beyond, take the train from the nearby Museum Station (5 minutes' walk ) to your destination.

The location was so good that we did not even consider renting a car for Sydney itself. If we were to head to Sydney again, we would choose Meriton Suites World Tower above anything else. There is simply no other option that could make us feel like we were on top of the world during our stay.
