Crazy Rich Asian, having a meal there will be a fantastic experience.
Rated as one of the best restaurants in Singapore by Singapore Tatler, this is probably one of the places where you could spot a star or even a crazy rich Asian.
The Monti is located in between One Fullerton and Clifford Pier. It is on an 'island' of its own on 1 Pavilion. It is accessible only by a bridge between One Fullerton and Clifford Pier. The building itself is clad in glass and you would feel like you are dining in a fish tank. Given the exclusivity of the location, it was a surprise for us to see a weekend brunch targeted at family.

If you think that a meal there would cost a million, you would be pleasantly surprised that you could have a family Brunch there at a very affordable fare during the weekend. Furthermore, there will be activities for kids every first weekend of the month at no additional cost.
Step into the Monti
Once you step in, you will be greeted by a bar area. Head inside and you could choose one of the tables with THAT million dollar view. If you want a waterfront location for a meal, this would probably be the closest you can in Singapore.
The crowd on a weekend is different from the corporate crowd during weekdays. Gone are the weekday suits, Replacing it would be causal weekend attire with families and couples making the most of the crowd.
What's for Brunch?
On weekdays, Monti serves up fine Italian Dining. On weekend, casual Italian fare takes over the menu.
Brunch at Monti starts from 930 am to 5pm every Saturday and Sunday.
Compared to Dinner Menu, Brunch @ Monti is a steal. Comfort food takes the limelight during this period with breakfast, pasta, pizza on the menu.
The Monti's Big Breakfast ($ 25) is a must-try. It is loaded with a choice of eggs, tomato, avocado, crispy bacon, portobello mushroom, caramelized onion, Brazilian Pork Sausage and toasted baguette, This dish will be a savoury meal to have at any time of the day.
Trust us, kids would love this combination.
Another Brunch favourite would be Monti's Breakfast Burger ($25). This signature burger would entice your tastebud. With double Tajima Wagyu beef patty, melted mozzarella cheese, crispy bacon and a generous serving of lettuce, cucumber, onion, tomato top with a sunny side up in between Brioche bun, this burger is 'Da bomb'. Comes plated with mixed green and potato wedges.
If that is not enough, you can try the Charcoal Grilled Prime Ribeye Steak ($38). Cooked to your liking, this would make a good main course for the day.

Kids are not left out of the menu. You can choose from a kids-friendly menu with options such as Margherita Pizza, House Made Spaghetti, Fried Chicken Waffle and more. Prices are pretty kids friendly too.
The portions are generous as well. We reckon the Pizza itself is big enough to feed two hungry children.

To complete the dining experience, we recommend desserts!
The Banana Split ($8) and Lemonade Tart ($15) would be dishes to leave a sweet taste in your mouth after a delightful brunch.
The pricing for the dishes are very reasonable for a family day out. Price starts from $8 onward for dessert and the highest price is at $38 for the Ribeye Steak. Children menu are at an affordable range of $8-$12 per dish. For a Crazy Rich Asian experience, this is indeed a steal! *

For the Kids
If you are bringing younger children, Monti is a kids friendly destination for weekend brunch. While adults sit and savour the food and view, children have a little corner set up for them to play.

For the bigger kids, head to Monti on the first Saturday of the month for their Pasta making special event.
The Head Chef Felix will be demonstrating the technique of making pasta.
Kids can cut their own Pasta shape to take home for a meal.
It was a relaxing experience for the boys during our time at Monti. A special compliment to Head Chef Felix for the delicious Brunch.
