Disney Magical Moments @ Orchard Road : Christmas on a Great Street Launch

Orchard Road transformed to Happiest Street on Earth.

Mickey has brought his friends down to Orchard Road to light up Christmas. This year Disney Magical Moments will light up Orchard Road, making it a Christmas on a Great Street.

Heading to Orchard Road during Christmas to view the Christmas light-up has always been a tradition among families. This year, it is made a little bit more special when Disney attempts to recreate the magic on Orchard Road.

To grace this event, Mickey and Minne put up a performance during the launch.

The highlight of the show would be Mickey and Minnie cruising down Orchard Road in a vintage car. The crowd was absolutely delighted with the sight.

Let's go for a ride

After all, it is not every day you get to see Mickey and Minnie driving through Orchard Road in a convertible vintage ride.

This year, the Christmas light-up in Orchard Road will be split into 4 zones. From Tanglin Road to Scotts Road would be the Disney Princess enchanting their way to your heart.

Along this stretch, there are a few sets you could take a picture. The Little Mermaid Set Piece just outside Shaw House is a hit.

This stretch can be identified as having purple lights.

Hope over to Wheelock Place and Cinderella will be there to greet you.

The main section would be helmed by Mickey and Friends along Orchard Road. The main displays would be along Orchard Road itself.

Strike a post with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy lined up along the road.

Queues can be quite long, but at least it is orderly. That says quite a lot about Singaporean's Queue culture...

Along the way, you would have street performers who would entertain you.

From buskers to magic shows, there is something for everyone. Do remember to leave them a tip if you like the performances!

The next 2 zones down the stretch will be Frozen and Toy Story represented by dark blue and yellow lights. There will no be any pop up to see , so the best way to experience them would be a drive through Orchard Road.
