With so much variation, it can t be bewildering to choose the ones you like. Here is a list of traditional CNY Goodies and their symbolic meanings to CNY to help you get started.

CNY Goodies from Poon Confectionary

The CNY Goodies featured are from Poon Confectionery (Rename to Royal Bakery)  established in Malaysia in 1971.  It is one of the oldest makers of homemade tidbits and CNY goodies famous for Muah Chee and Pineapple tarts.

Kuih Kapit are called love letters because they were used in the past to convey secret love notes between lovers. This Kuih Kapit comes with eggs that symbolise fertility. With a hint of butter, the original version is crispy and gives off a familiar aroma. Unlike the traditional rolled versions, these are folded for ease of eating. It's less messy eating it too!
