Looking for accommodation near Disneyland Anaheim?

We stayed in Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Anaheim for a night during our California road trip.
It was meant to be a stopover after a long flight before heading to Las Vegas. Nonetheless, we had a whiff of what was expected in Country Inn & Suites.


Checking in was a breeze, we booked our rooms from Booking.com and it went without a hitch.
The room we chose was the Queen Room with two queen beds. If you are travelling in a party of 4, the room could easily accommodate 4 adults.

Parking was a breeze with sufficient parking lots on site. Compared to other hotels in the vicinity, there is free parking on site. ( Most hotels charge an additional fee of average USD 25 per night)

Why we choose Country Inn & Suites?

1) Queen Size beds

2) Clean rooms and toilets

The room was not very big. Other than the 2 queen beds, there is a small writing desk for visitors.

Cable TV and WiFi access are included in the package.

As for amenities, a tea/coffee machine is included. However, it only boils one cup at a time. In addition, bottled water was not provided, so we do suggest stocking up at the nearby convenience stalls.

The Bathroom is clean with a bathtub/shower combination provided.

Basic bathroom amenities are provided as well

If you are looking for the safe, it is placed under the washing basin. It is a weird location in our opinion.

In terms of view, this is what we had from the room. It was not much of a view but it will do.

3 Breakfast Provided

The good thing about the hotel is that it comes with breakfast included. There are restaurants within a block away at Anaheim Gardenwalk, but if you are making this hotel as a base for Disneyland, it is always good to grab breakfast in the hotel to save time and cost.

4 Free Parking
Parking was a breeze with sufficient parking lots on site. Compared to other hotels in the vicinity, there is free parking on site. ( Most hotels charge an additional fee of average USD 25 per night)

5 Location

There is a small mall, Anaheim Garden walk that housed mostly restaurants including the popular The Cheesecake factory in about 0.2 miles from the hotel.

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure is less than a mile away and would take you about 10-15 minutes walk through the main street. Walking on the streets is relatively safe but there may be stretches that are a little isolated due to the location.

Verdict
Overall for a short stay in Anaheim, Country Inn & Suites will be a decent budget-friendly accommodation to consider.
