Located at the spanky new ibis KLCC, the largest ibis hotel in Asia, Kampung Kitchen occupies a whole floor on the hotel.



This modern interpretation of a traditional Malay village has a vast seating arrangement that can seat groups as small as 2 to groups of 10.

With its large windows and expansive views of the city skylines and the rolling hills on the horizon, this is a great spot to dine with a view.

During weekends, you get to enjoy Hi-Tea at Kampung Kitchen at a luxury pace from 12pm to 4 pm. Priced at RM 68 nett, it is a decent price to pay for a weekend treat.

The star of the Hi-Tea Buffet is the craving of Roast Lamb or Roast Beef. We had the Roast Lamb during our meal and it was soft and delectable.

The Hi-Tea Buffet has familiar Malaysia and International cuisine served during the meal. You get favourites such as Murtabak fried rice, a dim sum as well as grilled beef and chicken.

If you are lucky, you might get the signature roasted duck served during the meal.

This particular dish is a must-try with the soft tender meat that melts in your mouth.

In addition to the buffet courses, you can also make your own mee dish. Head to the noodle counter and customise your noodles according to your taste and the chef will make a tasty treat for you.

To round up a good meal, desserts are a must. From fruits to ice cream, there will be something to suit your taste.

As for us, we could not resist the Malaysian desserts. the different varieties of kuih would leave one wanting for more.

Since it was a buffet, we could not resist taking seconds for the desserts.

For the best sit in the house, choose a seat by the window for the City Skyline. With the Petronas Twin Tower as your backdrop. it is hard not to fall in love with this view.
