Primary School Registration Phases and Key Registration Dates

If you have a child going to primary school, you would need this.


Registration Phases

Primary 1 registration is done by phases. This is applicable to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents. The Phases are from Phase 1 to 2C Supplementary. There are a total of 6 phases to note.

Phase 1

• You have another child currently studying at your preferred school.
• All children registered under this phase are guaranteed places in the schools

Key Dates 
Registration:  3 July 2019 to 4 July 2019

Phase 2A(1)

• You are a former student of the school chosen and have signed up as a member of the alumni before 1 July 2018
• You are a member of the Advisory or Management Committee of your school of choice.

Key Dates
Registration: 9 July 2019
Result: 12 July 2019


Phases 2A(2)

• You or a child of yours have previously studied in the school of choice
• You are a staff of the school
• Your child is currently in the MOE Kindergarten located within your preferred school

Key Dates
Registration: 15 July - 16 July 2019
Result: 19 July 2019


Phase 2B

• You are a parent Volunteer before 1 July and completed 40 hours of service by 30 Jun 2019 in the school of choice
• You are a member endorsed by the church or clan directly connected to the school
• You are endorsed as an active community leader
• There will only be 20 places reserved in all schools. This may be subjected to balloting

Registration: 22 July - 23 July 2019
Result: 26 July 2019

Phase 2C

• Your child is eligible for P1 and not yet registered in primary school. You can register online using the Primary 1 internet System or register in person.
• There will be 20 places reserve in all schools for this phase

Key Dates
Registration :
Online  - 29 July 2019 9am to 31 July 2019 430pm
School - 30 July to 1 August 2019
Result: 7 August 2019

Phase 2C Supplementary

• Your child is eligible for P1 and not yet registered in primary school. 
• You can register online using the Primary 1 internet System or register in person.

Key Dates
Registration :
Online  - 12 August 2019 9am to 13 August 2019 430pm
School - 13 August to 14 August 2019
Result :21 August 2019

Phase 3 ( For international students only)
For International Student, you can register under Phase 3. You need to indicate your interest by filling a form from 9am on Tuesday 4 June 2019. Details available here
