Are you ready for a stay at a Galatic Starcruiser?
Hot on the heels of Disney's latest Star Wars attraction Galaxy Edge would be a brand new Star Wars Theme hotel known as Star Wars: Galatic Starcruiser. built to resemble the intergalactic spaceship called the Halcyon. This immersive hotel is currently being developed in Disney World Resort in Florida.
Unveiled at the D23 Expo 2019, Disney had announced this new venture. There is currently no firm opening date, but Disney had indicated that this would be a 3Day, 2-night interactive experience where guests will experience Life in a ship that was infamously known to be boarded by Kylo Ren and the First Order.

There is no option to stay any longer or shorter at the hotel as there is meant to be a fixed agenda during your stay. The hotel is said to have no windows and would feature screens instead that would give you the impression of being in space. If you happen to be claustrophobic, do take note of this.
During your stay, you will have about 48 hours interacting with Star Wars characters and other passengers. Guest will check in at Walt Disney World and enter a launch Pod that would take them to space to board the Halcyon.

Once onboard, guests will be participating in theme activities like practising their lightsaber skills in a special training program ala Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: A New Hope. There will also be a shop bridge where guest interacts with the crew on how Halvcon operates. You can even witness battles between the Starcruiser and enemy ships!
For adults, after a hard day of training, you can relax in the Star Wars-themed bar, called the Silver C lounge. You might chance on crew dressed up as Aliens and even have a game or two,
Obviously, if you are looking for a hotel to chill and swim in the pool, this would not be the experience you seek. If you would like to immerse yourself in Starwars lore, prepare to fork out a hefty fee for it. Prices are speculated to be at about USD $1400 to USD $3300 per pax for the whole experience. A cabin for 5 is said to cost USD $7200. It may be more than a pretty penny, but to go to a galaxy far far away without the need to spend light-years in space, it may just be the bargain you seek.
