Visiting a Supermarket/Mall/Wet Market?



It is now compulsory to bring NRIC or Photo ID to ALL Supermarket, Mall or Wet Market


This announcement was made via Whatsapp GOV.sg channel.

Do note the following measures

• For all visitors including Singaporeans, residents and visitors, you are to bring along NRIC or any other official photo ID with barcode for scanning

• Mask is to be worn for all times

• Go alone and observe safe distancing, keeping at least 1 m away from others.

• Do note that Temperature screening and collection of particulars for tracing purpose will be required.

Previously, Photo IDs are required at High Traffic locations. 

Do note that unless specified, there are currently no requirements to head out only on the even or odd dates corresponding to the last digit of your NRIC.

This would only apply at the following places
